We have a contract for a Band 6 Cellular Pathology Specialist Biomedical Scientist, for our client based in Buckinghamshire.

The client is a medium sized district hospital, employing little over 4000 staff. The trust provides an increasing number of specialist services to the growing population across Buckinghamshire.

The Role:

• 5 hrs p/w
• Weekend work required
• Cellular Pathology lab

Qualifications and Experience required:

• HCPC registered as a Biomedical Scientist.
• We require at least 2 years post registrations, hospital laboratory experience in a Cellular Pathology laboratory.
• Section cutting experience
• Able to cut 40+ blocks per hour
• Embedding and special stains experience
• Able to cut levels and serial sections
• Microtomy skills

This role is under the Direct Engagement payment model and the range of pay is £19- £22 p/h std.
