My client based in South London is looking for an experienced, Band 5/6 Biomedical Scientist for a locum contract, starting as soon as possible.

The Role:

• Job Title: Biomedical Scientist
• Band: 5/6
• Division: Biochemistry
• Location: St Helier's Hospital, Wrythe Lane, Carshalton, SM5 1AA
• Organisation: Clinical Blood Sciences SGUH, ESTH
• Start Date: 4 Months Initially
• Working Pattern: 37.5 hrs/week
• Shift Pattern: Mon - Fri, 09:00 - 17:30, 1 hr unpaid lunch

Requirements:

• HCPC Registered Biomedical Scientist
• Either Band 5 or 6
• Must have minimum 1 years' experience - (Client would like to know which laboratory, equipment & assays)

  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

• Desirable Skills:
  • Using Chromsystems assays
  • Using Waters LCMS and Agilent HPLC systems
  • Literature searching
