The Role:

• Job Title: Physiotherapist

• Location: Stoke Mandeville Hospital
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 3 MONTHS
• Working Pattern:
  • Mon-Thurs 8.30-17.00 & Friday 8.30-16.00
  • Band 6 at 37.5 hrs/week
  • Band 7 at 30 hrs/week
• The ideal would be that the candidate has work history in spinal injuries, but we also need to make it clear that proven Neuro rehab experience would also be suitable.

Requirements:

• HCPC Registered as a Physiotherapist
• Minimum 4 Years' UK Based Experience
• Experience of working as a Physiotherapist in a spinal cord injury or neuro rehabilitation setting.
• Ability to manage own case load, formulate treatment plans and participate in goal planning process.
• Some knowledge of the neurological management and treatment of SCI.
• Experience of multi-disciplinary team working and complex discharge planning.
• Knowledge of appropriate treatment techniques and equipment
• Experience of posture and seating, particularly regarding wheelchair provision.
• Level of IT skills required for accessing and inputting to electronic patient notes.
